Introduction to the Customer Portal

The customer portal allows users of the role "customer" to create and manage bookings in a fully self-serving way.

An important feature is the Webbooker, which enables the creation of new bookings, Packages either manually or by importing in bulk or via API.

 

In addition to this, the customer portal offers several other functions, such as:

  • View details of bookings and packages, such as
    • pickup, drop-off stops as well as contact details and additional information
    • order documents and images associated with the document
  • Tracking of the status
    • See the ETAs of stops 
    • See the current location of the assigned driver in certain cases / when compliant with privacy laws
    • Get tracking links which can be distributed to non-users to also track the progress of individual stops
  • Editing and cancelling of created bookings
  • Review bookings after completion
    • View and download the proof of completion such as fotos, signature and comments
    • Viewing prices and invoices
  • Managing the customer profile including the billing address and API keys

To gain access to the customer portal, a customer account must first be created. New customer accounts can be created by admins or directly by the customer, without an invitation.

In addition to the above-mentioned functions, customers receive update emails directly to the email address with which the customer account was created. In this way, customers are kept informed about new, ongoing, and completed bookings even outside the customer portal.
