How can I import delivery orders via a CSV file? ​

Delivery orders can be imported by email by sending a CSV file (encoded in UTF-8) to the relevant import email address.

It is important that the file is formatted correctly and contains the right columns and column names so that we can read the data without errors. Some columns are mandatory, while others are optional.

The following columns are supported unless defined otherwise, and some of these columns only accept certain values. The column names are matched in German, exactly as listed below:

  • Lieferdatum (required) / The day the delivery should take place. Please use the format DD.MM.YYYY (e.g. 29.02.2024).

  • Auftragsnummer (optional) / Printed on the freight order and our invoice, and can be used to attach additional documents to the order, e.g. a delivery note.

  • Sendungsnummer (optional) / Printed on the freight order and our invoice, and can be used to attach additional documents to the order, e.g. a delivery note.

  • Lieferscheinnummer (optional) / Printed on the freight order and our invoice, and can be used to attach additional documents to the order, e.g. a delivery note.

  • Kundennummer (optional) / Printed on the freight order and our invoice, and can be used to attach additional documents to the order, e.g. a delivery note.

  • Name des Empfängers / Name of the recipient (company name) or location (optional).

  • Straße / Street name of the delivery address (required).

  • Hausnummer / House number of the delivery address (required).

  • Postleitzahl / Postal code of the delivery address (required).

  • Stadt / City of the delivery address (required).

  • Land / Country of the delivery address (optional, default "Deutschland").

  • Zusatzinformationen / Additional information about the address (optional).

  • Ansprechpartner Vorname (optional) / Contact first name.

  • Ansprechpartner Nachname (optional) / Contact last name.

  • Ansprechpartner Telefon (optional) / Contact phone number.

  • Ansprechpartner Email (optional) / Contact email address.

  • Größe (required) / Either Rollie or Palette.

  • Kühlungstyp (required) / Options: Trocken | Gekühlt | Tiefgekühlt.

  • Anzahl (required) / Number of shipping units, i.e. roll cages or pallets.

  • Gewicht (optional) / Weight in kg. If provided, we can take it into account during tour planning.

  • Barcode (optional) / If provided, your drivers can scan the barcodes with the MotionTools app.
