Feature highlight: Reworked Driver app

WHAT’S NEW

We're making the tour display in the app more configurable to better fit different types of operations. The new features include customizable labels at the top of tour cards, controls for how many stops drivers see on each card, map display options, and other customization features. The updated driver app will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT

Driver experience directly impacts how well operations run. Better control over what drivers see in the app helps them focus on key tour details and cuts down on drivers accepting then quickly rejecting tours.

WHAT’S NEXT

We're working on tour ranking systems to further improve operation efficiency. The new system will show drivers only the most fitting tours, ranking them based on the first stop proximity and urgency.

More features and updates

Reattempting package delivery on the current tour

When a package delivery fails at its destination stop, drivers can now try to deliver it again by selecting the dedicated failure reason. This will create a new stop at the end of the tour for another delivery attempt.

Sorting directions of tour and booking lists

Operations, Bookings, and Tours pages now support bidirectional sorting. Dispatchers can choose to display items in ascending or descending order through the page settings.

Time horizon of the Operations page

Dispatchers often need to see bookings and tours scheduled for future dates on the Operations page, depending on the operations model, time of year, and day of the week. The new time horizon filter lets dispatchers select up to 7 days in advance.

Unlimited lists on the Operations page

The Operations page was previously limited display to 100 items. This restriction has been removed, and the page now shows all bookings and tours that match the filter criteria.
