WHAT’S NEW

We're introducing a new set of customer-facing booking statuses to provide a clearer view of a booking's progress. These statuses will be visible only on the Customer Portal and will be rolled out by the end of August.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT

Previously, when bookings were dispatched into a tour, customers struggled to understand whether their bookings were actively being worked on or not. The bookings would be titled Dispatched, which offers little insight into their actual state.

To solve this, we’ve created customer-facing booking statuses that combine the booking’s actual status with stop statuses. For example, if a booking is Dispatched and a driver is approaching a stop, the customer will see the status as In Progress. Learn more about customer-facing statuses in our Help Center article.

WHAT’S NEXT

This improvement is part of our ongoing effort to more clearly differentiate between services offered to customers (Booking services) and those requested from drivers (Tour services), as announced in June. In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to refine these distinctions, with the goal of fully separating the two and preventing dispatchers from directly assigning bookings to drivers.

More features and updates

Support for Imprint URL

In addition to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy URLs, admins can now add an Imprint URL in the Business settings on the Dashboard. Additionally, all legal links are now visible in the footers of the onboarding Dashboard pages and in the Legal section of user profiles.

Saved Places filters

While filtering Saved Places by status or type was always possible via API, this feature was never available on the Dashboard UI. We've now improved this by introducing filters on the Saved Places page for all user roles. Learn more about the Saved Places feature in the Help Center.

Stops’ ETA in all tour statuses

Previously, the Dashboard indicated the ETA for stops only when a tour was in the En Route state. We've relaxed this restriction, and now ETAs are shown for all incomplete stops regardless of a tour's status. Learn more about the ETA service in the Help Center.

Drop-off stop number in the Package scanner

The Driver app now displays a drop-off stop number when a package is scanned at the pickup stop, helping drivers load their vans in the correct order. This feature is currently being rolled out for the iOS version of the app and will soon be available on Android.
