Bulk import multiple drivers via a CSV file
What is a CSV file?
A CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file is a simple plain text file used for storing tabular data in a structured format. They are used for bulk imports because they're a simple and efficient way to handle large amounts of data.
To bulk import multiple Drivers at once, open the Drivers Tab and click on the Import Drivers button.
To help you get started we prepared a CSV template you can fill out. Click on the Download CSV template button to download it.
Next, you can open up the CSV file in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets to edit it and enter the needed information. Just like in the example entry, you add the email addresses of the drivers you want to invite and the Organization ID of the Organization each driver should belong to.
Make sure the email addresses you've entered are correct and unique.
You can find an Organization ID by opening the Organizations Tab and clicking on the needed Organization.
Next, you go to the URL field of your browser and copy the string of numbers at the end of the URL. This is the Organization’s ID.
Once you filled out the CSV file you need to save or export it as a CSV file. Read the How can I export an excel file to a UTF-8 Format encoded CSV? article, if you need help with that.
Now, you can upload the CSV file to your tenant by clicking on the Upload CSV button and selecting the CSV file.
You will see a list of all the drivers you imported from the CSV file and can check if the correct Organization was selected.
Click on the Invite drivers button to complete the invitation, and a popup confirming the invitations will appear.
