Invite or remove an Organization Manager

This article explains how to invite or remove an Org Manager in MotionTools. For more information about the Org Manager role, please read the Org Manager article.

Overview


Invite an Org Manager

Before inviting an Org Manager, you must have at least one Organization to assign them to. Read the Create an Organization article to learn more.

To invite a new Org Manager to your tenant, open the Settings page and click on Members in the 'My business' section. Next, click on the the Invite members button.

Switch to the Invite to organization Tab in the popup. Enter an email address and select the Organisation the Manager should belong to from the drop-down. To invite more than one member at a time, click Add row. Once you entered the Managers you want to add, hit Invite.

Make sure the email address you've entered is correct and unique

Once you add an Org Manager, they will be sent an email with an invitation to complete the registration and sign up with the email address they were invited with.


Remove an Org Manager

To remove an Org Manager from your tenant, open the Settings page and click on Members in the 'My business' section. Next, click on the Org Manager you want to remove to open the Members details page.

You can switch to the 'Managers' Tab to only see members with the Org Manager role and/or use the search function to enter the name, email, or phone number of a Manager to find the account faster.

Go to the Account management section where you can choose between blocking or anonymizing the user.

Block vs. Anonymize

  • Block: The user will be signed out and will not be able to use the platform. The action is reversible.

  • Anonymize: The user data will be permanently anonymized, and the user won't be able to sign in again.

When you click the Block or Anonymize button, a popup appears asking you to Cancel or Confirm your action.


Unblock an Org Manager

If you or someone else previously blocked an Org Manager and you want to unblock the user again, open the Settings page and click on Members in the 'My business' section. Next, click on the Manager you want to unblock to open the Members details page.

You can switch to the 'Managers' Tab to only see members with the Org Manager role and/or use the search function to enter the name, email, or phone number of a Manager to find the account faster.

Go to the Account management section and click on the Unblock button.

When you click the Unblock button, a popup appears asking you to Cancel or Confirm your action.
