This article explains how to invite or remove an Admin in MotionTools. For more information about the Admin role, please read the Admin article.
Overview
Invite an Admin
To invite new Admins to your tenant, open the Settings page and click on Members in the My business section. Next, click on the Invite members button.
Enter an email address and select the Admin role from the drop-down. To invite more than one member at a time, click Add row. Once you entered the Admins you want to add, hit Invite.
Make sure the email address you've entered is correct and unique
Once you add an admin, they will be sent an email with an invitation to complete the registration and sign up with the email address they were invited with.
Remove an Admin
To remove an Admin from your tenant, open the Settings page and click on Members in the My business section. Next, click on the Admin you want to remove to open the Members details page.
You can switch to the 'Administrators' Tab to only see members with the Admin role and/or use the search function to enter the name, email, or phone number of an Admin to find the account faster.
Go to the Account management section where you can choose between blocking or anonymizing the user.
Block vs. Anonymize
Block: The user will be signed out and will not be able to use the platform. The action is reversible.
Anonymize: The user data will be permanently anonymized, and the user won't be able to sign in again.
When you click the Block or Anonymize button, a popup appears asking you to Cancel or Confirm your action.
Unblock an Admin
If you or someone else previously blocked an Admin and you want to unblock the user again, open the Settings page and click on Members in the My business section. Next, click on the Admin you want to unblock to open the Members details page.
You can switch to the 'Administrators' Tab to only see members with the Admin role and/or use the search function to enter the name, email, or phone number of an Admin to find the account faster.
Go to the Account management section and click on the Unblock button.
When you click the Unblock button, a popup appears asking you to Cancel or Confirm your action.
