Feature highlight: Offering Services per Service areas
WHAT’S NEW
MotionTools now allows configuring service availability by service area and setting an ops configuration for each service and service area combination. This change will be rolled out at the beginning of October.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT
The update drastically improves MotionTools' flexibility. Previously, all services were always available in all service areas, and each service area had exactly one ops configuration. Now it is possible to use not only a different operational configuration regionally, but also for each service. Please contact your account manager to learn more.

We’ll continue exploring ways to make the platform even more adaptable to different business needs. Next up is improving ops configurations to go beyond simple business hours definitions.
More features and updates
Attaching PDFs to user profiles
Admins can now upload PDF documents to the profiles of other users. The documents are visible to the respective users but in read-only mode. This feature is ideal for storing important information, like contract amendments or terms and conditions, that users can view but not edit.
Driver’s phone number display option
A new service option will allow admins to choose to display a driver’s phone number to customers on the Booking details or Stop tracking pages. If enabled, the number will be visible while the driver approaches the customer’s stop or works at it. The feature will become available later this month.
Duplicating packages
Admins and customers can now duplicate a package from the Package Details page. Like booking duplication, the Dashboard will redirect to the Webbooker with all package details pre-filled and ready for review.
Support for custom durations on the Dashboard
Very soon, admins / dispatchers and customers will be able to edit stop durations directly on the Booking and Tour details pages and when importing new bookings via CSV. Custom stop durations override the default service durations and help calculate more accurate ETAs.
