This article explains the concept of Booking and Tour Services.
Overview
What is a Service?
A Service represents what the Operator offers and fulfills in MotionTools. Customers request Services as Bookings, while drivers complete them as Tours. Operators often bundle multiple Bookings into optimized Tours before assigning them to drivers or partner Organizations.
Booking services are customer-facing, letting customers request specific offerings. Tour services help dispatchers organize Bookings into efficient routes and manage supplier coordination.
You can configure a Service’s details (e.g., proof of completion, capabilities) to fit your business needs. By default, one booking service and one tour service exist, and at least one of each must be active for the system to function. To set up additional services, please contact our support.
You can find the default services in the Dashboard under Settings → Booking services and Tour services.
