Overview
Introduction
You can use Metadata to include custom external data and to link between systems.
If you’re e.g. already managing your service areas with another tool and want to sync them with MotionTools, you can add metadata on a service area and link it to the external id on your current tool.
Navigate to Metadata section
Go to Settings > Service areas > Click on a Service area to open its details page > open the Metadata tab
Add Metadata
Click on + Add Metadata
In the popover enter a key (max. 40 characters) and a value (max. 500 characters)
Click on Add
Edit Metadata
Click on the metadata entry you want to edit.
In the popover you can make changes to the key and value
Click Add to save your changes.
Delete Metadata
Click on the metadata entry you want to delete.
In the popover, click on delete.
