A service area maps and defines a region where the business operates and allows to define some additional characteristics about the business for this region
How Service areas are used
Service areas help validate Bookings and Tours during creation, ensuring they are within specific regions. Additionally, timezone, currency, pricing, and available payment options are all managed at the service area level.
Service areas also determine the scheduling options and opening times for an operator. This is particularly important when customers request services by creating Bookings. A Booking's start time must align with the configuration for its corresponding service area.
The Dashboard also allows you to filter Bookings and Tours by Service areas, making them easier to find and manage.
